Going Floral

Floral prints were very popular down on the 70’s, then the 90’s brought them back and nowadays, is our time to make them work.

Designers such as Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta, Diane Von Furstenberg, Peter Som, Rodarte among others,showed up on runway last spring their own inspirations on floral fantasy, from the necklace, to the sweater, to the dress and to the shoes.

Although, this garden look might result a little bit difficult to wear for some petites, because they would be out of proportion. However, petites shouldn’t give up easily on the floral trend, since there are some designs such as the pencil skirt that would fit perfectly to short women,just don’t forget to wear those high heels. Also, keep in mind the accessories, which make a huge difference to the outfit, and why not wearing flowers on your neck or ears?

High Wasted Vintage Shorts

The high waisted shorts are back! However, with a twist. Teens and young adults wear the high waisted shorts by adding studs, bleaching them, adding the american flag, even adding lacing to the shorts, and many more different creative ideas.

So go ahead, dig up your parent's old jeans and cut them into shorts and put a little dash of creativity, to achieve this trend. Some even bleach the shorts and tie dye them. They would half bleach the shorts to give the shorts more of a contrast and when tie dying the shorts, some do rainbow style or even just two colors. Others add flower fabrics to the shorts to give it that classiness, and some even paint animal print to give the shorts a bold look.

Longer Luxurious Lenghts

Long skirts are almost always part of fashion trends year after year. Women’s long skirts are one of my favorite fashion trends either during summer or winter.There are many  ways to wear these also they are a sophisticated and refreshing alternative to the tights and minis combo and can be worn both casually or ultra-glamorous. You could go the hippie way or you could even go the business/casual way.

Most favorite long skirt design is the maxi skirt. A maxi skirt is usually defined as a casual lower garment that covers the whole legs and extends to the ankles or longer. It can be made of many fabrics such as chiffon, cotton, linen, jersey, crepe and even wool during winter season.
