The Fishtail Braid!

The hardest thing about doing a fishtail braid on yourself is getting it started. Here’s a secret trick, start with a clear elastic then cut it out at the end. By starting with a clear elastic at the top, you never have to worry about holding 4 confusing pieces together to get your braid going. You can just go straight into it!

• Divide the hair you want to braid into two equal sections.

• Start a fishtail braid by holding the right section with your right hand. Then, using your left hand, pick up a one-eighth-inch chunk of hair from the outside of the left section and cross it over to the inside of the right section.

• Repeat on the other side: Hold the left section in your left hand. Use your right hand to pick up a one-eighth-inch chunk of hair from the outer right section and cross it over to the inside of the left section.

• Continue picking up small sections and crossing them over until you reach the ends of your hair.

• Secure with an elastic.

Baggy is IN!!

T-Shirts give off strong representations of the type of people we are and the way we want ourselves to be perceived. I remember when I was at college, I used to wear my brother’s shirts just because they are so comfy and they are really big, but they look cool. I’ve always preferred baggy clothes, I guess it’s just my style, and now it’s a trend to go baggy. The baggy T-Shirt is usually worn by the majority of the population in a casual, dress down sense. Many people wear these kinds of T-Shirts when at home relaxing or even at the gym; they are not on the whole typically worn when going out to events such as clubs and bars. These kinds of clothes are worn casually and are not connected to showing off. Nowadays if you’re at a bar wearing a big blouse, means you’re totally in.

Many girls think “if you do the baggy T-shirt with shorts it will look to guyish, because the shirts so plain and oversized, and shorts would match better with a plain smaller T-shirt”. If you’re the type of girl who dresses by the way you feel, I will say go ahead and do the baggy, it’s all about being comfy and sure.

From Jeans...To Shorts...

Making shorts out of jeans is easy, as long as you proceed carefully. If you just start cutting, you're likely to wind up with uneven legs and jagged hems or studs. Using a pair of your shorts to measure for your jean shorts ensures that both legs are the same length.

Not every pair of jeans makes great jean shorts. Selecting the right jeans, measuring properly and finishing the jeans to suit your style are all important. Check It Out.

Kilim is here!

Im sure many have seen this type of tapestry everywhere, but many people still wonder its name.Kilim, are fabric colors that blend and usually are decorated with geometric figures. They can be purely decorative or can function as prayer rugs. Many people are now wearing kilim on their daily basis, whether in shoes, hats, bags, wallets, jeans, tennis, spadrillers etc....I personally have my own kilim bags, which were my moms long time ago.You must probably seen this trend on boho chics, which are more commonly to wear this type of tapestry.

So Far by the Sea...

It’s been two months since I moved to Tela, so far so great!...Here’s a little bit of some things that I’ve been doing in this beautiful place, check it out
J

It was my b'day days ago, and my friend bought this cute cake for me. I was really really happy because, most of the time I don't expect people presents or anything nice(just from my family), but I did have a great time, I even went to San Pedro to hang out with my friends from there(which I really miss a lot) but my favorite part was the cake and the nice birthday wishes I had from everybody, thank you very much.

I really love Sponge Bob(especially his square pants)

Sweet 22!!!!!

Days ago, I got off work, and went to the beach.I live like 50 steps away from the beach, the sun was perfectly smiling for pictures, so I had to take advantage of him...Dresses with open backs are my fav,  you can wear them for both day and night, or for sunset in this case. The first thing that may come to mind for many people when they think of open back dresses is a night out, but as open back dresses are becoming more popular, designers are creating them for many more occasions nowadays.

This is my neighbor Andy, with his great star tattoos. The first time I met him, he didn't had that star on his neck neither on his shoulder, and like 4 weeks ago, all of a sudden one day he appeared on my apartment, with his groovy mood and a bit bleeding from his neck and I was like "Andy did you just get another star?"...and he suddenly responded "Hell yes!!!" I personally would never tattoo myself, I don't see myself with any paint in my body, but I do like how it looks on others body. Andy's going to tattoo himself again, I for sure will take pictures from his new tattoo!

I was opening the door to get in my apartment, when I found this little buddy in the doorknob. There are a lot of lizards here where I live. They are in my 10 favorite animals list. This was a baby one, and was really not scared of me at all, actually he posed for many pictures for me.

Old buildings are great for photoshoots, a live nearby one, and when I first moved here, everybody used to tell me creepy stories about it, and people used to asked me "Have you seen any ghosts yet?" and I was like "No,I haven't,but I wish". Im not really scared about ghosts or any paranormal activities, otherwise im excited about it and it's maybe because I haven't experienced anything like that, the day that I experience something, I will for sure blog about it.

So, my friend(which is really scared of ghost) and I went to "Club House" a.k.a "The Old Building" to take some pictures for Fashion Recipes. To tell you the truth I was very excited, just to be in a place where is haunted really caught my attention.Nothing happened,no one scared us,no ghosts,no creepy sounds,no nothing, just birds and squirrels, that was about it.Hope you like the pics!

It is always important to have navy accesories and clothes!

It's a crime not to wear sunglasses when your neighbor is the sea...

Ferris Wheel(Fun Ride)

I just started my internship at this beach hotel call Telamar. It’s been three weeks since I move to Tela city, and I have to say it is a new whole different exciting experience. Also it’s going to be very difficult for me to post almost every week or every two weeks, because now I barely have time for myself, since I have to work  every single day and it happens to be that my shifts change every three days, so I don’t have an established schedule like other people. So I apologize for that, but this is just life happening to me now haha.

To be honest,I haven’t  had the time to go out and sneak around Tela, but days ago I went to this Playland Park, and it was really interesting what I found there,to tell you a secret, im such a coward for this kind of parks, I never ever ever take rides on them, because most of the time im scared or I just chickened out.One of my friends says that my perfect disaster date would be on one of those parks, and for sure she’s  right!

I'll take you round round round...na na na...I remember U Aldo! :)
