The British Fashion Awards 2010

The BFA is a ceremony held annually in the United Kingdom to present awards to those who have made the most outstanding contributions to British clothing design during the year. The awards include that of British Designer of the Year, and Outstanding Contribution as well as awards to the 'most-fashionable' celebrities in various fields. The awards are organized by the British Fashion Council(BFC) and run as part of London Fashion Week each February.


The BFC which sponsors the awards, broke tradition this time by giving a posthumous award to Alexander McQueen for Outstanding Achievement in Fashion Design. It also added two new categories, one for Special Recognition and another for Digital Innovation.
